Anthea went into theatre for what we hope is the last time to have some work done on her left hand. They did some more skin grafts and have closed the wound. Please pray that the grafts will take and this will be the last surgery they have to do. She’s, not surprisingly, in some pain as a result of this.
Lella is now back up from Brighton for a few days. The family still have no idea on the timeframe for recovery, how long Anthea will be at the John Radcliffe etc but the patience of Anthea and her family has been outstanding.

Dear Mike, Anthea and family.
Our loving and heartfelt prayers continue earnestly. We praise God for your strength and witness of His great love. May many come to know Him because of your stance.

May the Lord give all of you patience and strength during ‘the long haul’. Hopefully Anthea is now entering a new stage of treatment and recovery, and we’re all behind you as her body heals.
And thank you, Oliver, for the constant updates – which are great help in prayer focus for the Hills!
Every blessing to all of the family!

Dear Bishop Mike and Anthea
We drove past your home in Clifton last night and wondered to ourselves when you will be home. Then we both realised how blessed you are to be both here and we thank God for that. We continue to remember you in prayer often each day. Often people who do not even know you ask me how you both are and many people are checking the blog each day for news. We pray that the consultants, doctors and nurses make the right decisions for Anthea and we pray that you (Bishop Mike)will take care of yourself too.
Much love
