Good to hear the much more positive news.
You remain in our thoughts & prayers:
God, from the wealth of his glory
give you power through his Spirit
to be inwardly strong.
Christ make his home in your hearts
through faith:
that you may know how broad,
how long, how high
and how deep is his love
and be filled with the very nature of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen

Dear Anthea and Mike, delighted to hear of your great progress. We keep in prayer. Have had enquiries from Addiscombe from several folk regarding you both.
Last year, Anthea, while undergoing serious surgery in BRI, I had lots of morphine, and spent several days in an hallucinatory nightmare – so I feel your distress!
God keep you, and bless you as you recover.
A reverend friend sent me the following when i was ill:
Blessing of Rest be yours
Blessing of Recovery be yours
Blessing of Wholesomeness be yours
Blessing of Thankfulness be yours
And love from Maurice and Pat

Dear Bishop Hill and Anthea–I just received word of the accident and am praying in earnest for Anthea’s swift and complete recovery. “For we know that in EVERYTHING God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28. You most certainly love him and are called according to his purpose, and I pray that God’s goodness will be revealed to you even more in this most difficult time for you. Much love to you both.
