Yesterday did not see the progress of previous days for Anthea.
The medical team decided to try and wake Anthea up. Mike and Charis were asked to join her. However, the process clearly was causing Anthea distress so they ceased the process.
This was a difficult time for the family, so your prayers for them will be most appreciated.
Today, they will perform a tracheotomy so that she can breathe without tubes in her mouth. They hope this will mean that when they attempt to wake her again, it will be less distressing for her as a result.

I was praying yesterday for the medical team about waking Anthea up, so will continue, I’ve prayed especially for Lella yesterday afternoon and this morning, and have already been praying for you all, that God will give you blessing today, and Anthea will have Peace.
Love to you all.

Just read about your accident today in the Church Times and even though we have not been in touch much over the years since Brasted Place and Ridley Hall we often speak of you and the times we shared together. Be assured of our love and prayers for you all as you pass through this difficult time. We will pray particularly for Anthea in our worship with the local Church on Sunday that Our Lord’s healing hand will be upon her and His love surround you all.
All our love,

Can I just say what a relief to discover an individual
who really knows what they are talking about on the net.
You actually know how to bring an issue to light and make it important.
A lot more people must look at this and understand
this side of your story. I was surprised you’re not more
popular given that you most certainly possess the gift.
